Suerte

As a self-proclaimed foodie and restaurant expert, I can confidently say that Suerte in Austin, TX is a must-visit restaurant for anyone looking for Mexico-inspired flavors. Their dishes are creative, flavorful, and made with the freshest ingredients.
To start the meal, the guacamole topped with a pistachio-sesame matcha verde salsa and herbs is a standout appetizer. The combination of creamy avocado and crunchy pistachios creates a perfect texture, while the matcha verde salsa adds a unique and delicious twist to the classic guacamole.
Next, the Quesabirria is a hearty and satisfying dish that will leave you wanting more. The braised beef cheeks are tender and flavorful, and the consomme adds a rich depth of flavor. The quesillo and salsa piloncillo are the perfect toppings to bring everything together, and the masa made in house is the perfect vehicle for this dish.
But the real star of the show is the Suadero tacos. Made with confit wagyu brisket, black magic oil, avocado crudo, onion y cilantro, these tacos are truly the best. The wagyu brisket is incredibly tender and flavorful, and the black magic oil adds a smoky and slightly spicy kick. The avocado crudo and onion y cilantro provide the perfect balance of freshness and acidity.
To finish off the outstanding meal, we ordered the Chocotaco. The chocolate-masa shell is crispy and delicious, and the peanut caramel and cinnamon semifreddo are the perfect sweet and salty combination. The roasted peanuts add a nice crunch and texture to this dessert.
Overall, Suerte in Austin, TX is a must-visit restaurant for anyone looking for innovative and delicious Mexico-inspired flavors. The guacamole, Quesabirria, and Suadero tacos are all standout dishes that are sure to impress. And don't forget to save room for the Chocotaco – it's the perfect way to end an outstanding meal.
